Fundamentals of Learning

This training is for everyone interested in the learning process especially teachers, trainers, consultants, parents, managers and coaches. You will learn:

• a variety of learning styles
  
• specific teaching styles
  
• different presentation styles
  
• conscious and unconscious learning
  
• specific learning strategies using the T.O.T.E. and T.O.T.A.L. models
  to integrate learning with larger systems including school, family, workplace, community
  
• to identify specific learning difficulties and ways of overcoming them
  
• how to achieve different levels of learning

We will use a holistic framework that will focus on a ‘whole brain approach’ to learning. We will also incorporate specific issues related to learning raised by participants. You will explore how we:

• learn and use our five senses and language in different ways for different types of learning
  
• think in concrete and abstract terms
  
• form and use concepts.
  

Prerequisites
