Systemic Leadership and Teamwork

This training is for everyone interested in effective leadership and team or group work, working in any context within a group of people. When we work congruently in ourselves, with our family and work place we are not only more likely to be successful and have an easier time, but we will also add quality to each of them. How we lead and follow our own direction as well as that of others is a major factor in this process. Often leading is explored separately from following. This misses the systemic nature of the interaction. There is no leading without some corresponding following. This is the case whether the relationship is between people or within the individual. You will explore the interaction of leader and follower.

You will learn how to:

• successfully lead yourself and others
  
• successfully follow yourself and others and also when and how not to lead or follow
  
• use different leadership and follower styles and move easily between them
  
• as a member of a team, to successfully establish and maintain:
  
  • group rapport
    
  • an effective team
    
  • co-ordinate individual, sub-group, and large group identities
    
  • work successfully with transitions in groups
    
  • creatively use the diversity of group membership and the natural stages in the life of a group.
